This is the zink die casting mold. we use it in our shop. It is eyelet of desk for cable management. The standard Diameter 60mm grommets. Desk hole is 60mm; our design have big opening and PA brush to cover the opening. PA brush can be straight after remove the cables. For this parts, we have a lot of finishes. like Chrome, nickel, brushed chrome and nickel; painting and powder coating etc. We supplied a lot of grommets to Kimball with powder coating their color code is 405; 444; 501;514; we use IVC (PPG), Akzon Nobel’s powder to make it. Also we have 80mm diameter version. same finish.

As the Zink parts, they have a lot of burrs and need a lot of manual work. Also a lot of finishes are for the parts. We have to check it carefully and keep the cosmetic consistence. checked the parts 100% carefully.

Since the powder coating thickness and plating thickness are different so that we have to adjust the polish thickness and control the coating thickness so that the function are OK.

We designed a lot of adjustable ribs to let it tight fitting with the desk. So the desk maker can make the hole with bigger tolerance.
